St. Colmcilles Colour Run Returns for One Final Splash of Summer

2026 Colour Run
St. Colmcilles GAA will bring a final blast of colour to the summer when the club hosts its annual Colour Run on Sunday, 6th September at 2pm at its grounds in Piltown, Co. Meath.
One of the club’s most colourful and enjoyable community events, the Colour Run is open to everyone, with families, friends, club members and the wider community invited to come along for an afternoon of fun.
This year’s event will be particularly special as St. Colmcilles plans to take a break from hosting the Colour Run for the next few years, making 2026 the last chance for a while to take part in what has become a hugely popular event in the club calendar.
The Colour Run is all about participation rather than competition. Those taking part can run, jog or walk the route, getting covered in colour along the way and enjoying a fun afternoon with family and friends. ENTER HERE
The entertainment will continue after the run, with Tribe Trucks serving food at the club grounds and Sweatscape Sauna, based at St. Colmcilles, adding to the atmosphere on the day.
St. Colmcilles is also delighted to welcome the wonderful Sean Perry as MC for the afternoon, helping to keep the crowds entertained throughout the event.
The club is extremely grateful to Jack Doran Motors,Budget Signs, Tribe Trucks and Sweatscape Sauna, whose support is helping us make this year’s event a fitting finale.
St. Colmcilles would also like to acknowledge Drogheda Credit Union, who have generously sponsored and supported the Colour Run in previous years. Their contribution has played an important part in helping the event grow into such an enjoyable community occasion, and the club would like to sincerely thank them for their support over the years.
The Colour Run is designed as a day for the entire community, and St. Colmcilles is encouraging people of all ages to get involved, whether they are club members or simply looking for a great family day out.
With the summer holidays drawing to a close and the Colour Run taking a break after this year, the club hopes to see a big crowd in Piltown to share one final blast of colour and give the event a memorable send-off.

Brief diversions and traffic slowing will be in place, with the community Gardaí on site to help manage any concerns.
